What to expect.

The leading therapist also speaks Spanish. She provides consults for 15 minutes to identify your needs and to make sure that we are able to service you. Due to Covid-19, the sessions occur via telehealth. Please inform the therapist should you be interested in face-to-face sessions.

Meet the therapist!

Sevil H. Modeste is the leading bilingual therapist. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2018 with a master’s degree in social work and a certificate in counselor Training. She is fluent in Spanish. She specializes in anxiety, depression, substance use amongst others utilizing, client-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches.

Sevil also brings years of experience providing therapy to individuals, adolescents and families in mental health field. Sevil has been working is social services field for decades in various capacities. Sevil started her journey as a Mental Health Probation Officer where she supervised, linked and counseled individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.
Her role as a therapist is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to share your experiences, thoughts, feelings and goals. Sevil is empathic as she understands how our experiences shape our perception. She utilizes a practical approach utilizing a combination of therapeutic approaches to address your needs.
